Warsow .42 is out now, so go get it and add hominid456 to Xfire please! I love this game, but becasue the new patch is out not everyone has updated... and... I dont know many people that play it so please add me and play some Warsow!

I heard about this a while ago, and even went and checked out their site. But I never dled it, cause it'll detract from my hl2dm play. But I guess it would be better than wasting time of Runescape lol.

Remember to use the old movement in warsow

Since I've been offline I've dabbled in a few other games, and this by far the best. I wish I could some guys here to play lan with me, but they're all gay and too busy with school. meh

I tried this game, it's pretty cool and also free

It uses Quake 2 engine, but is VERY VERY VERY modified, it's like a cartoon game such as TF2

It does take alot of time to get used to, bind shift sprint and space bar jump, alternate the two, strafe jump is more dynamic in Warsow than in hl2dm, you actually feel the diagonal slide and it feels damn good, so going from hl2dm to Warsow will be kind of annoying, but once you get the hang of it, it rocks completely.

Not to mention the Warsow community is full of potheads and cool ass people that know how to have fun!

I tried it once, it seems really floaty an weird, i would prefer to play q3:cpma.

I knew there would be a couple of these lol. I started my gaming career as an morpg addict and I don't have any of my old games, so I needed my fix lol. I'll check out warsow tonight if I have the energy, I'm so f'ing tired today omg its ridiculous.

cg_oldmovement 1 <A must if you're getting it.

whats the advantage of cg_oldmovement 1? does it make it easier for a hl2dm bhopper to pick up the warsow bhop? I really only wanna check out warsow for the tricking, it seems to have a lot more movement options than hl2dm. Seems like warsow is more about movement than anything else, which is intriuging.

well, about the old movement, the way you turn around in mid air is the same as hl2dm...but in this update, they made it so that if you just press W then you can turn in mid air, that way newbs would not have a hard time and quti the game, old movement just means that you need to press D when looking left and A for right when turning, thats all, and yes, much like q3, Warsow is the king of movement

I'm definately gonna have to check it out, I've been watching Q3 tricking vids on youtube and geez'um crow! They have come up with some crazy shit. I just want to do walljumps, ramp slides and lots of rocket jumps lol. Hopefully I remember to DL it tonight lol.

Warsow new movement = Hold forwards and press jump (easy for newcomers) old moveent = strafe and forwards and mouse movement.
Warsow is much fun but only instagib DM is too elitist, you even have to be almost bang on with a rocket ffs
