There was a discussion in irc on #hl2dm a week or so ago about how tournament.com failed due to running low-g killbox ffa instead of real maps etc., and one of the comments i made was that they should have increased their leet factor by adding a map called dm_killceiling, run in zero-g (since once you hit the roof in zero-g, youre up there until you die).Grape wrote:when i saw the title of the thread I thought it was about playing in 0 grav... which got me thinking of a map design that would work in 0 g... lots of random trigger pushes, visible streams of particles with different flow directions so there's some predictability, ladders going in all directions so you can grab hold of something, and weird mid-air soft shapes for cover.. oh and plenty of physics props and xbow. trees on the walls and upside down stairs to mess up your sense of direction.
