Scotch, gin, dark rum, tequila, bourbon, beer and wine. All good as long as you get the right kind and/or mix it with the right stuff. I'm not a fan of vodka.

I really want to try some Gin...

I'm not a whiskey fan.

Vodka is my drink.

I made one a while ago actually... Mix Blue Curacao, Passoa and Pineapple juice. Damn that think doesnt taste like alcohol at all.

I found a delightful drink as well. I take 95% ethanol and slosh it down bit by bit. Then when I have to piss I do so into a beer mug, and get this my piss has alcohol in it too, so i just drink that creating a never ending cycle of free beverages.

Paradox

2008-03-23 08:59:41

Yea and thats after he used the 95% scientific grade denatured ethanol to preserve some bacteriological experiment he was working on (or culture some new and deadly strain, we arnt sure). All we know is the lab he was doing this all in is now a level 4 hot zone. Now you know why his nick name is Rot Gut.

That is very true, I can't stand tequila straight but with salt and lime its fantastic. But I love vodka...I don't know why. That was the chuggin booze when we would get drunk in highschool. Chug that shit like water. No more of that for me though, I shudder just thinking about it. Mmm just gimme a six of a good lauger, a couple shots of grey goose, and a healthy glass of gin and juice and I'm just peachy. Well that and a pack of cigs and a couple bowls, you can't really do any serius drinking without smokin. Its like cake without icing, its still good but it could be way better.

Oh yea... Absynthe is overrated... Its almost like taking a shit of 151 Rum, Which I have done, Only it tastes better going down for about half a second. Then it goes off like a bomb.

Epoch

2008-03-23 21:27:58

Ugh memories of taking shots of 151...what memories? That shit is scary, its burns at a really high temperature and has a clear flame. never had absynth, but it seems kinda stupid. Ooo im drinking booze that also has hallucinagens in it (which apparently don't do shit lol). Why don't you just get your favorite beer and drop some blotter tabs in it, bada bing bada boom, drinkin and trippin just like that. And it'll taste way better too cause its your favorite beer.

Should have mentioned- both my "drinks" contain nothing but whats listed.

old time no.7

2008-03-25 19:14:01

as my name implies i take burbon siping as a part time hobby. but wisdom and bad experiences have taught me well how to take my time with liquid libations.

to add to the self professed snobbery, don't get me wrong i used to drink what ever was on hand...40's of steel reserve, OE, crazy horse and natural ice have passed these nephrons and glomeruli into the procelin throne...
now what i like these days:

beer-
sam smith's or a boddingtons
i don't know why but beer just tastes better poured into a glass...

wine,
i like the experts at my local bottle king to help me pick what on sale for 15 to 30 range. merlot and cab's are what i am a fan of these days.

vodkey in the freezer is the belvedere. taste is so clean i could wash my arse with it. it doesn't need anything, it's good by itself so it works well.

gin is ok with the right mix of tonic and lime, can't drink it straight so don't usually drink it.

oban is a nice single malt that i enjoy after one of these long days. not sweet like bourbon so it has a much bigger bite when i'm in the mood for a bitter.

my attitude twards paying more for hangover has changed these 18odd years of drank.
Quantity has no longer become an issue as much as enjoying the self inflicted liver mashing of the babble juices.
certianly doesn't help mah aims.

MIGHT!? Go out and get a six pack and some rinds RIGHT now lol. Oh yeah and if you REALLY want the ultimate experience you need Franks Red Hot hot sauce to drizzle over the pork rinds *really droolin now* watching football aint the same without that triple threat combo.
