Is there a way to record many demos without havign to type it out everytime i know you can bind "F12" "record demoname" but it gets over writen the nexxt time you press it. also i noticed if you just type record and hit enter it says...
record <demoname> [incremental] which leads me to believe it is possible to have 1 key press and it name each demo demo01 demo02 etc or does that only occur when map changes?

if you type record demo

it will make demo.dem for that round... then the next map will be recorded as demo_1.dem if you do another round it will be demo_2.dem. Basicly until you type stop in console and you stay in the server you will recorduntil you stopp it.

Map change increments it, I've yet to find a way. Change of server will kill your demo.

That's right, I do remember recording a demo, forgot about it and recorded through a few maps changing the name each map.

as mentioned above, you whenever you change the map the name is renamed to, _1, _2, and so on.
You could use a script to record many, but the problem would be that every time you exec the config (or quti and open back the game), the name of the demo recorded would go back to the first name you choose on your script, therefore likely deleting your previously recorded demo.
