5.2 hmm thats a pretty decent one.
I've been expecting a big one here for awhile, hope all the little magnitude 3.0 to 4.0's we have are relieving some pressure. Some of the 6.0+ quakes we have had in the past have been pretty devastating, although I like watching the tidal wave come out of my pool.

Yeah, 5.2 sounds powerful. I experienced a 3.9 one from about a 70 miles from the epicenter when I lived in CA and I thought that was something to remember. Was a wonder nothing fell down from any shelves in our apartment.

yep stretch, we are in the same area. the first was 4:36 AM, reported as 5.4 and later determined at 5.2. the 10:15 AM aftershock was determined to be 4.2. i felt that one too here at work.

first time for me. can't say i cared for it no matter how mild it felt here.

l2k, the geology here in the midwest is so much different. the shaking we felt here had an epicenter 129 miles away (wabash fault in IL.). hell, i've heard reports that is shook highrises in chicago. i dread the day the new madrid fault here in MO decides to roll again.
