Ahhhh Summer

Well I am lying here on my bunk of my boat, sipping a cold beer, the boat is gently rocking and its just very very relaxing.

It makes me think....I love playing DM and BSing with my clan and all of you, but after a long winter of spending probably way too many hours playing, its nice to have a change of pace and do something different. Tomorrow we will take the boat out in pursuit of some wiley fishes and soak in some sun and freah air.

Why am I sharing this with you, my DM friends? Just to say "Hey guys it summer, get up from the computer once in a while andgo spend a few hours outside in the fresh air and sun! Have some fun with some nearby friends (wont say real life friends cause you guys are real life friends of a different sort). DM and the rest of us will still be around when you get back. A change of pace can be good and refreshing." TTYL.

confirmed my House for 4th of july weekend north of nags head, NC in Duck. Now i just have to call and confirm my Deep sea charter. Going to do the fishing earlier in the week so we can have a big fish fry. Got 64 lbs of King mackeral last year(still have 3 steaks left), i think i wanna get some BlueFin (tuna) this year.

Nags Head is WIN.

We fished yesterday and got a bunch and had some for dinner last night mmmmm. Its a bit too windy today so we slept in late and are just relaxing and doing a bit more maintenance and cleaning on the boat.

@ Coke...LOL Its not nearly that hot here. Think we reached 75 yesterday. Today there is acool breeze and its prob about 65.

@ Pomp...Yeah, you know that whole big world outside your front door. Oh and the big yellow light in the sky is the sun, not an alien invasion.

@Nino.. sounds fun, however you might have a better shot at yellowfin tuna, because most if not all the bluefin tuna will be off of Maine and Canada at that time of year. Bluefin is delicious, but yellowfin tastes better IMO.

Ill be spending somewhat less time gaming as well; hiking season is up for me and after 12 hours on the mountain, i play like im in slow motion (if i have the energy to play at all)- movies or books always end up being much more appealing.

Of course, on the days i dont hike itll be business as usual.

In the UK we had our traditional summer (where the temp scrapes above 15degrees C) for the last 2 weeks in May, We now have a normal UK summer (pissing rain) to look forward to.

I should have stayed in the US last year... the weather was baking.
