idle #hl2dm

Please, I see soo many players that never use the hl2dm IRC channel that are on steam and play hl2dm all day.

We need to make better use of #hl2dm , if we can get to around 40 members daily it would go a long way and more gamers would come to the game through irc, almost daily i see dods players from #scrimdods join the hl2dm channel only to go back to the dods channel and say, meh that games deader then shit, they only have 20 people in the game channel. If you have an old computer you could set it up for irc only and idle it.

My goal is to get 40 people in #hl2dm on a normal day please help me!!

Well since i have my new antivirus, it blocks mirc and everytime i download it it keeps getting blocked.Even when i turn off my antivirus, it's blocked, i hate that shit

As more people start to use IRC it will keep getting more useful. You can get quick access to CAL admins and other players also you can get information on clans and steamids of players from the hl2dm bot. Pick up games are happening alot now and many people are asking for matches. But it needs to keep growing.

plenty of the css teams and players from other games goto the #hl2dm channel to meet the community. if only the community used it they might learn more about the game and stick around.
