This is ridiculous, it's so funny how people like to jump on the bandwagon.
So far I cannot think of one person in the last few years who said "I'm quitting hl2dm, gg" and then actually never came back.
The main problem a lot of people suffer from is time allocation. If you want this or any game to be fun, do not sit at your pc for 6-8 hours a day playing. Spending that much time is a waste of your life, and it ruins the game for you. Play conservatively and you will have a lot more fun. Don't get so wrapped up in having to be the best or the current master of the universe and again you will have more fun.
Now to all you quiters, go outside, enjoy the summer, do a few things and if you feel like it come back and play just like we know you eventually will.
