I seem to remember being able to join a server using shortcuts but now cannto get it to work.
"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 320 -connect 81.19.219.24:27025
When I click the shortcut it starts the game (HL2DM) but doesnt conenct to the server maybe I have missed something out.

How do you do it so that your in-game menu has where you can click and it sends you into a specific server you have?

You need a file called gamemenu.res once got it place it in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\resource

You can copy and paste the following into a text file, just change the server IP accordingly and their Labels or add more.
Save as gamemenu.res

OR YOU COULD JOIN IRC AND DO

-SERVER [IP HERE]

AND THE BOT WILL GIVE U THE SERVER STATUS AND A JOIN LINK, TOTALLY SHOULD DO THAT./
