So, who here has cheated/hacked in any game?

And I mean any game. Board games, card games, IRL games, internet games.

I used a whole ton of hacks for a few days in Counter-Strike 1.5 right when WON was dying and STEAM was taking over. I do not regret it. It was just way too much fun, especially when you got hacker vs hacker fights going on.

I never read the official rules on Pokemon cards. So I pretty much made up my own game with them.

Gameshark + Pokemon = !$!%@$@!?

Using save states to beat some of the easiest games. I kind of regret doing that because it removed a lot of fun and the little challenge in it.

Playing as Metal Mario/Master Hand/Giant Donkey Kong. Haha.

I did get pwnt bad once though. Was playing Uno and when I was about to win, someone pulls a card under my leg. I'm thinking "wtf I never put that there." 10 minutes later, this guy admits he done it to me. I never won any games that day.

i have tried wallhacking in css it was fun i dont regret it but then i got banned from a server one day then i stopped. I guess i cheated on the grand theft auto games but who hasnt used the weapong cheat or nothing?

I cheated on my GF and I always thought of her as a game. Does that count?

I cheated on a math test in the first or second grade. Got caught by the teacher, got yelled at, never did it again.

Glitch exploits in mah old Pokemon games. Cheated on quite a few Nintendo games. No online game cheats but I've cheated on HL2 and S-Mod. I love all those funky weapons.

I once took all my notes for an art history test and shuffled through them with my feet in the middle of the test and looked down from my chair.

grushed every character, created and used at least 8 bots, used loader, ran 8 different cd keys on 2 cpu's and ipfinders in diablo 2

starcraft campaign mode used all teh cheats after i beat it for shits and giggles

edit: also counted cards at this douche-fag's once a week blackjack/poker night (thats what he gets for using 1 deck of cards and playing for money )

Funny. That and awp_map are the only maps I can remember deliberately haxing on.

I usually played my games legit until I defeated them, then I whipped out gameshark codes and whatnot to really explore and get through the games as quickly as possible, mainly to view multiple endings (like Silent Hill series).

I've only ever run cheats in HL2DM on my own server and just for screwing around with friends. Although I've never hacked, I've been called a hacker quite a few times which I take as a compliment.

i once clicked undo playing solitaire.

Oh and I also put the gun directly on the TV screen when playing Duck Hunt ^_^

I cheated in Halo 2 multi player on xbox connect

I modded my xbox for xbl and played halo 2 mods all the time, I was known as Dlsa, afaik my mods are still availble somewhere around the interbuts, i did a fun one for some map name i can't remember now. good times <3

No dragging here, I agree with you on this one.

I quti cheating in single player RPGs at least cause of Paper Mario. I never want to spoil a game for me if it's too easy, got a good plot, or whatever.

RTS's are kind of different.

Online cheating isn't really addictive cause it does get old + you get banned (but the uber leet hackers get the games for free so they don't care). It's just like griefing except more extreme. It gets old. No one's a full-time cheater.

i cheated 1.6 before. was fun for like 2 weeks till i got vac banned. =(

I got a buddy that just can't help himself. As soon as he buys a new game, he busts out whatever cheat codes he finds online and cruises through it. I really think he can't control the impulse - as soon as he sees the shortcut, he just takes it. He probably would cheat online, except that he's super-paranoid and distrusts any program made specifically to hack something. He's a total pushover whenever we manage to talk him into multiplayer - he never even remotely learned how to even use the weapons correctly.
