Mag goes through...what?

was playing and the red line that shows the shot that hits you, has a line through an object.

gets me wonderin what mag is capable of going through.

i know squat about maping so any pixel/depth talk you will have to put into laymans terms. thanks

I'd say go test that object, might only stop players from going throu not bullets. Likely a clipping error in the map.

7, I went in there and shot the hell out of that "baracade". Dinged it all to hell. Probably just an interpolation error in the engine / or mani calc problem.

wt if i could stop "warping" i would, it makes it harder to hit people with registration.
as a plus people complain that the same is true when they're trying to shoot me...

i'm on wireless 54g (54mbs good signal)cable connection (TV room and computer room too far apart to run cat5 cable), i get little choke less than 10 and fps goes from 50-100 depending on map and # of players....

so not sure why it happens.

anyway, can i record my self on a server i create, and watch 3rd person? i'm thinking w/out source tv no...or would I need to have someon connect to LAN and then watch from spec...if i could even do that on a srvr i create...gah...time to get some sunlight on my eyelids for friday margarita lunch...

also the pictures here(at work) are Red x's can you all see them? i am ass.u.me'ing so

do you have a booster on your wireless? It helped me out a bunch until i got a line.

and you need sv_cheats 1 i forget the 3rd veiw command or if it works right

since my laptop was slow to start with this booster would make it as fast as a wire

I also needed some range to get a computer in my garage.

was your connection "poor", the red bars? i have "excellent" and 54mbs teh highest it says it goes.

My computer was in the same room as the wireless. I had just moved it in there and not gotten a cable. It was still laggy. Wired FTW when it comes to online play. Nothing else is as good. Some wireless is better than others, but for smooth play with no chop, you have to go old school...

mines was very poor at 11mps b4 the booster 54mps after or so

Didn't have my Pc at the time, my laptop was so slow that boosted wireless and wired gave me the same fps/stability.

Thats what i used for quite some time.

QTF, I used to be wireless also. I had my cable provider run the line under my floor and up thru to where my computer is.

The mag can penetrate grate textures, the invisible texture and func_breakablesurf glass. Thats about it, it doesnt have cs style texture penetration and wont continue through props that it strikes, even if they are destroyed.

Regarding wireless, i have yet to see a single player who used it and didnt randomly freeze or teleport. Its just junk for online play.
