CTF?

ok, so i've never played the mod, don't know much about it.
So anyone want to help me out here?

what am i looking for?

well basic tactics, where to get the mod. servers to play on, things you wish you'd knew before playing..etc etc. etc...

I don't think it's going to be the CTF mod...just hl2dm-ctf.

so uh, does this mean i don't have to d/l a mod? i can just play any map i see with prefix CTF and the server says CTF in it?

No need to download a mod...although there is a CTF mod, many have made CTF maps for vanilla HL2DM. The CAL CTF division is a HL2DM division and will use such maps.

Just look for maps that have been made with capture the flag type objectives. The easiest way is to sort your server list by map name and jump into a map that starts with a prefix of ctf, or hang out on servers run CTF oriented clans such as HAX, Nookie etc.
