stopping HD "stutter" during demo recording

is there ANYTHING I can do about this, aside from getting a new HD?

it's really annoying and is a hinderance in matches a lot of the time.

even after I defrag it still comes up sometimes albeit a lot less and for shorter periods of time.

Don't record? Are you planning on making a video?

CAL and Warzone both require you to record demos so I can't just not record, and I do want to make another video eventually although that isn't as important.

If everyone has to record, why not just make a STV demo?... makes sense

yeah it makes sense but theres a little more info that can be gotten from a client side demo, so that's the main reason.

STV has no lag compensation so kills can look like they miss. Same with spec mode.
