Antialiasing mode

so ya ive had it on 4x i guess... and got like 60 fps max once i turned it off i got like 200 ( OMGO MOMGOMGOGMOGMGwow) but anyways since i turned it off my sound has been super funky, i hear mad static, sometimes my sound just turns off, i tried re installing my drivers ( the cd that came w/ my sound card is corrupted now or something so that doesnt work ) i tried dl'ing the drivers off the site http://support.creative.com/Products/Pr ... tremeGamer

i tried
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi series Driver 2.18.0004 and the beta Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi series Beta Driver

and now my shit seems more fucked like... ill be playing a match and be looking in completly opposite side of map cuase i hear them, then they just walk behind me.

so if anyone would know what is causing this, or if im dling the wrong driver or wtf

Try the original drivers

There should be old drivers laying around on the internet, often companies (even big ones like creative) got a filfefront account, check it out. if not e-mail them asking for link to old drivers, they MUST have links to older builds somewhere, propose them to put them online aswell. glhf

every company has drivers for their cards. the only question i have is you started talking about FPS with your vid card but then attached that to hearing funky sounds. are you saying your vid card is bad or your sound card?

Get hold of driver cleaner and remove all creative/sounblaster stuff, creatives drivers tend to stick around and mess up newer drivers and never install creatives beta drivers.
