Hardcore Goldeneye players

I need to know if any of you guys has been hardcore goldeneye players. This has nothing to do with GE:S (goldeneye source) but a personnal project.

Was big into GE and still am, you just reminded me I need to beat it on 00 agent, need to do Aztec and egyptian then after that i need to do the cheats the facility one is especially hard.

I used to play with the C buttons as move and the analog stick as look around, almost like using mouse in left hand ,it meant you always got max speed when speed strafing and could aim much better.

Got perfect darkl too which is the better game overall but I do prefer a spot of GE becasue the maps are better laid out i think.
My entire PD times from 3 years ago not sure if i have improved them since.

Same as keefy, used to play it until the N64 started smoking and unlocked everything, same goes for perfect dark (underrated).

I liked the way GESource played in beta but there were a crapload of wallhackers in the beta servers, I was getting pre-fired like it was going out of style.

I'm currently modding the N64 version (emulated rom), adding levels/retextures, ill try to make the klobb not suck. Game will also have mouse support. PM me for details

Finally beating Aztec on 00agent was insane. Rareware was my fav console game developer until they just started sucking way too much.

I'm not a hardcore GE player anymore but I'd definitley check out what you're doing. That sounds like fun.

I think i got 1:31 for facility too, not the absolute best but facility was like THE level to go for time.
Used to play it every weekend + weekdays with ma gaming buddies harcore like a motha fucker, best multi console game ever played etc.

But it wouldnt work on PC.....UNLESS u had hand controller of similar style, its all about mastering that motha fuckin little stick.

Well like i said, this GE64 version support mouse config, im pretty sure a N64 controller -to-PC is possible, actually ill try to get my friend to make one :O

Im pretty sure a normal PC controller, just with a stick on the left hand side, would suffice, and if u do still have n64 controllers, im quite sure they would be fucked anyways XD

You can buy USB-N64 adapters or at least you could last time i checked. I just use my PS3 controller for PC emulators now.
I wish that Xbox version wasn't cancelled that would have been so cool, I would have bought an 360 then.

If you could still find new controllers that might work, but it seems like the joystick was made to go bad after a year. Then there was that mysterious white powder that came out the middle, no joke.

Yea thats wat i meant hey, theres noway u could still have a N64 controller after all these years, with a working stick.
Assuming u actually used them often enough.

oooooh, just watched the facility record, 0:53, vhaat zhee, i heard bak in the day that 1:26 was the record, or something like that.
Its kinda hard to remember though, i was like 13 - 15 at the time
