any blackpowder gun enthusiasts? got a question or two.

way out in left field on this topic... but the diverse knowledge base of this community never ceases to amaze me.

i'm thinking of selling two blackpowder guns and i'm having trouble coming up with pricing. both are from cabelas, about 20 years ago.

1851 navy colt 44, brass frame, black steel engraved cylinder

hawken 50 cal percussion

the hawken had been fired for sighting purposes only (20 years ago). the colt has never been fired. both have been displayed on a wall for the past 20 years.

we just talked about him hunting with blackpowder guns!

not really an enthusiast, i only use the one i have cause they give u an extra week to the hunting season where u can use bp guns only. my knowledge base on these are more oriented in the newer models. i use a tompson. traditional style bp guns are not something i know about. and i dont hang mine on the wall i hunt with them =P.
