Not sure if anyone else is on it but I just found out about it so I thought I'd share it with you guys, it's a good idea I reckon

It's really good actually, just been talking to S-UK people in group chat.

It would be cool if HL2DMU had a group as well

just tried it, and it ain't bad. I liked it =D.
The only thing that annoys me is when I'm playing and while I'm pressing shift and want to see the score with Tab, the community opens in the middle of the game. If there is a way to chage those 2 keys, plz tell me =P.

Yeah same thing happened to me

To change it: Settings > in-game (tab) > press short cut keys, then just click on the box and press the keys you wish to use as a short cut.

I hate it. They removed the friends button when you press ESC. I don't wanna have to press Shift + Tab everytime i wanna see who's on.

ESC-->Click vs other 2 key combo for friends.....meh, not a big deal..you'll get used to it (once you change off of shift+tab)

The Group features are cool, we've already set up a clan group, and it's pretty easy. The Announcements & Event Scheduling are cool..so far so good..

Definitely makes it easy to do a starter clan website...I know it took me a couple weeks to get our site up and running..something like this would have been a great option to use in the interim.

I also like the time counters...so you can see what your group members are playing (at least if they are playing on Steam).

hmm this does not seem to be working properly for me while in game. when I am in game and I do my Shift TAB thing .. the message that my friend sent is all shaky and distorted. .. (i really should have taken a screen shot) .. but yeah I can't even read what they wrote it's soo bad.)

That server is technically not even supposed to be up and running anymore. The sponsoring company closed its doors. They seem to have forgotten to shut it down, but I guess it could go at any time.

A new HL2DMU server may go up sometime, but for right now we are focusing on other things.

It's not supposed to be a popular pub. I think there are more than enough of those anyway. The HL2DMU server exists for officials and players associated with the site to use for training or experimentation. We encourage players to pub on clan affiliate servers as a way to strengthen the clans and the community overall, not this server.

That is why you wont see sounds, stats, a big map cycle and so on.

If I ever get around to making official HL2DMU maps, they will run on the HL2DMU server instead of CAL maps.
