Does anyone find the razer deathadder still scans when the mouse is lifted off a lot higher than other mice, I bought a deathadder on the weekend and i find it still scans when the mouse is lifted off the mousepad a lot higher than my old G5, anyone else find this as well? For me its it still keeps scanning when lifted off about 4-5mm.

IIRC its about 3 mm, but that can vary depending on your mat. I also know that if you have a older firmware it was a issue in versions around 1.10. I cant find the page on esreality atm where they did all the tests on the deathadder, but they did test/measure lift off distance. As for me I don't notice it or find it to be a problem with my deathadder, then again I don't lift much either.

Yeah lol, but I find it useless unless you ought to hit the mouse when getting killed xD

The lechasis has an incredibly low lift off i believe, a clanmate was having problems with his until another clanmate told him to take the sticker off the bottom, after doing so it worked perfect.

my cheap knockoff mouse(that is still dying) can lift 2-3mm and still moves fairly well :D

Have a look at your DA controls to see what driver and firmware you're running

I'm using doubled mouse feet and I can't lift my mouse more then 1 or 2mm :P

Latest drivers and firmware can be found here: http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_ ... id=0&nav=0

Sorry for bringing the old topic alive but I had some problems with the new Deathadder Respawn as well but I might have found the solution to that...

So if anyone still experiences the problem with the lift off I made a video on youtube have a look and try that out see if it helps...

I'm clueless on win7, I heard the original mouse fix did nothing.
