I need some. What's the heaviest, most intense shit ever?
So far I've been looking at lamb of god, and it's been pretty good. FYI, I'm not looking for good music, in fact, I'm trying to stay away from major tones and catchy key changes. I just need loud, angry noise.

The Argumentalizer

2009-03-10 06:59:40

I like a little melody with the HEAVY, so Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquility, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Kreator, old Entombed, Morbid Angel, Meshuggah, Death, and Prong take care of most of it.
Meshuggah Obven ought to be angry enough.
Try Cannibal Corpse or maybe some Black Metal- Immortal or Emperor.

Oh ouch. I guess I should explain. At usafa there's a tradition called recognition in which the freshmen get their shit rocked for 72 hours straight. It's like hell week for firefighters. I'm in charge of the radio station during this time and I need some music that will put the trainers in a mood to kill something and trainees in a confused, busy mindset. So, I don't actually like this kind of music (well, some of it's kinda tight, but I'm more of a classical guy :? ), but I'm sitting next to a box of infant rabbits, and when I listen to a song and strangle one of them, I know it hit the spot. After going down your list, the box is empty now. Please forgive my mention of the bands above (I'll edit them out), I was just trying to convey the idea that I'm not looking for Frank Sinatra. Thanks for your extensive list of br00tality, from what I've heard so far, I'll probably use them all :)

To everyone else, thank you for your suggestions, they rock!

Here's the real lyrics for a family sing-a-long, if you'd like to:)

Tonight this cunt will pay.
My dick will beat her face.
Her life and her cunt are mine.
This slut shall now see.

All night on this bitch I release my piece.
Yes. Yes. I am the man.
And I will kill when I can.
You can try to run.
Burt your done.
Run.
Gun to your head.
One more sound and your dead.
Kick in your teeth.
With my cock piece.

Sweet labial meat.
Her inside out twat.
Tastes great to eat.
Dripping and slipping and oozing and flowing with spit.
This vile slit.
Will ghost ride my prick.

Blood pours from her tender throat.
I left her bound to a tree.
Nude. Mangled. Butchered and Blasted.
Now these skanks know not to fuck with me

Lyrics? What are those?

I really like Death Angels last and Exodus just rox!!!!!
More thrash but i likey!

Opeth is THE finest Metal around, period.
From My Hearse onward, stunning mix of brutal and musical.
I can't push these guys enough.
Try Deliverance first maybe.

And folks should stop slagging Mudvayne. The End of All Things is awesome and they have the best bassist/drummer combo around.
For something really out there, try Some technical shit, like CYNIC! or Spiral Architect or Necrophagist if chops are important.

Mushroomhead, one of my favorite bands ever.
This was their first hit single and one of my favorite songs of theirs.
Jmann (the guy with the white face paint) isn't part of the band anymore because at the time of 2005 his father grew ill and he wanted to be by his fathers side so he chose a replacement for his position in the band which I was heavily saddened by. But he still does shows in Cleveland (they're home town) whenever they do shows there.

Link

The guy with the long dreads and the cross painted on his face is Jmann's replacement. Hes alright, I think his southern accent heavily bleeds into his screaming and I'm just not that all around impressed completely with the band, the replacement singer, and where they were going with the album.

Link

This is one of Jmann (Jason Popsons) side projects.
I love the music. He has like 2 other bands also.

Link

I aspire to have vocals like Jason. I used to heavily love Tim Lambesis from As I Lay Dying, and I still do, but there is just something heavily unique about Jmann's vocals. Ive been thinking of dressing as his Mushroomhead stage presence for next Halloween. I'll just have to chop the hair off back to how I used to have it. Haha.

Exodus's Shovel Headed Kill Machine and The Atrocity Exhibition are about as death as thrash metal albums can get... and they kick ass. Similar to, but much better than, Kreator's Hordes of Chaos
