GUNS!

so i went to another gunshow saturday... 500 tables large at a convention center. i resisted the temptation of arriving right at the opening, fearing lines of peeps clinging to their guns and religion clogging the entryway. i drove through torrential rain and dropping temperatures which eventually turned to snow... and arrived fashionably 1.5 hours late. :o

waited 2.5 hours in line and STILL didnt get in the door. ffs, it was a zoo. went to visit the bass pro shops and check out their shotgun inventory. not a single remington 870 or mossberg 500 in stock. grabbed a bite to eat and went back to the show. the line was longer.

you people clinging to your guns and religion... STOP IT! you're just posers. after all, a majority elected THE ONE. amirite?!?!?! let us true nutjobs buy moar guns already!!! :sketchy:

my bro-in-law and i have joked about opening up a gun shop. its just unbelievable the volume of transactions out there right now. a couple of years ago i could buy a quality box of .223 ammo for six bucks. now, its averaging like 29 bucks. over a dollar per bullet. jeez. try and find a place with ar-15's in stock. nobody has quality brands in stock. those that are taking back orders are looking at a 6 months wait. many are not even offering back orders. ive been looking for another shotgun, a tactical one, for the past 2 months. same issues. remingtons and mossbergs are sold out everywhere. i can find a few benelli's if i want to fork out $1800. fookin crazy i tell ya!

Just be glad you don't live in a state like Ca where you can't even own these guns.

you will have no trouble finding a quality .357. importation of the spas 12 was made illegal back in '89, so there were always limited choices in circulation. they are legal to buy in most states if you can find one. they look mean, but are of poor quality imho. for what you'll pay at auction for a spas, you could almost get 2 mossbergs and much better quality. IF you can find them.

I also dream big and would like to shoot a 50 cal sniper but that won't be easy. I'd get a sniper rifle anyway though. All in preparation for the inevitable zombie outbreak

We used them to defeat King George's army, that's what.

I can't have my .44 Magnum [Ruger Super red hawk Alaskan] in Cal  I am a revolver girl and first I am getting a Ruger LCR but I would like a .22 Ruger Mark III and a Ruger mini 14 target rifle .22 and pistol for practice as well as a Sig Sauer p232 .380 to carry ... to start with...

Yea AR's are slim and far between right now. They still sell them in California, but you have to get the button magazine and have to change the center chamber out (illegally) to make it fully auto, which Ive been thinking about doing. I also have a .45 HK. Extended unmarked magazines are easy to get from Vegas.

You might want to check out Arizona for any type of weaponry you are looking for, even there I hear its slim pickings though.

And everyone buying guns, is because they expect to see shit hitting the fan with Obama's presidency. There will be a civil war if he try's to do anything with Americans weapons. If that occurs I will just get a Scar and a couple Kriss's.

I already got guns. And Impala, one of em is a completely stainless steel shotty. Talk about intimidation when you load the chamber. That sound is just so sexy.

I think guns are sexy  Seriously, no one wants idiots with guns, but realistically the idiots are going to get them no matter how many laws you pass or how many people get arrested, so is best to be smart and know what you are doing as with anything else in life. Really a broken bottle can be deadly but same as a knife unless you know how to throw those suckers, you have 21 feet between you and your opponent that you have to close in before you can hurt them if they have a stronger weapon [depending on the weapon] so is not ideal. :|

Sad thing is that CCCP made 50.000 nukes during Cold War and the USA 70.000 nukes (each one a lot more powerful that Hiroshima's one). Many of those nukes were sold ilegally and others legally to Nuclear Energy Plants.

Hiroshima was an atomic bomb. These are nuclear bombs. They are two different things.

An atomic bomb is a nuclear bomb.

I believe the distinction you are trying to make is between atomic and hydrogen (or "thermonuclear") where atomic relies solely on fission a hydrogen bomb uses both fusion and fission. Reactions relying solely on fission have an inherit limit to the energy they can produce while those that use a mix of fission and fusion do not have this limit.

Hence, any true nuclear power moved away from atomic bombs and on to hydrogen bombs, because, to use a Carlinism, most politicians subscribe to the "bigger dick" theory.
