About half is staged, half is from hackers, there's a few legit sequences in there but jumping triple shot AWP kill, does anyone really believe that? Well i think there are several types of frag videos; some people prefer to entertain the public and raise the bar innovation and idea-wise while other concentrate on raw content that will make other league player go "wow". Both are really different but just as needed, I think this one falls into the entertainment category and sits there to raise the bar, entertain, and act like some kind of wet dream for certain players.

Yes but there are frag videos who do all of the above. Frag videos like coL's 2005 ESWC documentary/frag video and Quake 3 Arena's Virtuosity were groundbreaking and only featured the worlds best respective players and legit kills at the time. As a person who used to play CSS I think it's a little disgusting to watch them showoff staged shots, to me they're taking a cheap shortcut. But yea entertainment for masses, what can a brotha say?

The thing is that a few years back x264 didn't even existed, only professional designers knew how to use Blink Video. So we [the gamers] had to release videos in DivX, DivX Pro or XviD of about 640x480 or 800x600. Only a few had music sync and edition was very poor.

Maybe seems weird to most of you that people can have than many 1 deag hs and all, but css guys are a lot more dedicated and serious about the game than hl2dm people. Most of them have over 110 hours, and im not even exagerating one bit there.

To the hours question, look up some css players and look at their steam account, go on www.cevo.com or www.esea.com and look at the people's steam id's, 100 hours+ and i didn't say krystal didn't hack, i said he didn't hack in leagues, so read correctly before saying anything. It's not because most of the guys that play hl2dm have like 50 hours that everyone that plays every other game don't have more, if any of you start playing css and get in any league, you'll see that people play incredible amounts of time just to perfect one simple thing, leading them to have 100 hours in 2 weeks.

Steam is bugged (still) it says "playing HL2" when you are mapping sometimes. I woul not trust it.

It's bullshit you said you were with him in a team, no one from europe plays with americans I can assure you that and I played css for 2 years + i never said anything about the hours cause i know some ppl that play that much. Krystal always plays in esl.css.de like every german player/clan, no foreigners are allowed there since it's only for germans. And man I played in ESL, enemydown, clanbase, digibattles( that's dead now) and won a lot of cups in the last. I played css for 2,5 years very competitively based, so thinking i've got no clue about it then you're just dumb. Btw how come when I check Krystal's friend list I don't see you in it ...

I didn't pay attention to the "month" part on WT's post. I just saw the number and thought about the 2 weeks count that steam is based on, in which case my calculation was right (considering it was 15,7 hours or around that, can't recall...)

On topic: I haven't been able to check this video yet, my current conditions don't allow me U_U.
But I don't like clayman at all, he thinks he is the shit or something... and I don't really trust on the "official" scores of the videos. Reviewers are normal people like any other, so I much rather see the general opinion than only one. (Besides I have found myself not agreeing in many cases)

frag movie was well edited and had some good kills in it. As for cheated players and stage frags well can't tell its always disappointing having staged frags for frag movie just to show off how good you are. I try not think if it is staged or not and mainly focus on the editing. Because really it the producer that doing all the hard work not the players (they the freak lazzy lot and the producer the guy that put out time playing to make it).It should been seen more as a form of entertainment than as a medium to show off.

As for CSS frag movie well I try to keep a open mind I do h8 the game and find is boring as hell but I do admire the frag movies made by that community. I find it very impressive to that producers can get very boring css footage and manage to edited it to the point of being entertaining. With hl2dm well it never need that much attention you can cut and paste the footage together with a track and it will entertain by it self.

Never said I played in leagues with him. I did LAN's. A lot of euro players play in American LAN's as backups. Happened for coL. core. Triumph. and probably a lot of others.

If you think im lying your just another of those guys that are just useless to try to make them realize something, it's not because you never went to a LAN (just guessing you didn't) that no one that you know has to do the same thing as you, over here if you're over 15 you can participate in any "gaming competitions" for any game and any league/organization/tournament, and there is nothing bad about doing so, you just get to meet other guys that have the same pass-time as you and are as interested in the game your playing at, also makes you see some of the places you wouldn't really think of going in, a country or any other place even if it's close to you that you wouldn't really go to look at.

Well in the beginning i specifically said that I'm talking about the german Krystal and that's the one that comes in all those movies with fake actions and hacking (those shots are possible but this guy is just shit so he needs hax to do it) Anyway looking at your posts now, I see that you never said he wasn't from germany when i said that a lot, as you never said that he wasn't from there etc so you still were lying about him and that was my point the whole time.

The guy i played with came from germany, played a lot of LAN's over there when there was any and came to the big ones in america if his team went, but didn't go to any of the small LAN's because of course its not free to travell all the way here, and i gave you all the other details about him in my preceeding comment so i won't say all of it again. A couple of people from the known euro team's like coL, fnatic, core have players that play for some american teams in the big american LAN's that their team doesn't go to.

coL was an american team ( they left coL now) core was an american team they splitted now and fnatic had one css team and they never went to america. Only 2 of them played in CGS and coL and core were american teams in CGS so i don't know where you got the information from. And people over here don't even go to a lan in another country that's nearby to theirs without having an organization to pay their travel. As long as you don't give any proof so i can believe you then no one in here will believe your fabulous story that went from I played with krystal in the same team to I played with some guy that lived in germany on a LAN.
