It's no problem, unlike other sites this one is not in competition with anyone or anything. I just thought the new community group seemed redundant when that is what this site is all about, hence my post on steamforums about it.

Yeah I uninstalled it a while ago because it was lagging me...

I have, but it seems to get better if you go to Settings -> In-game and disable it. At least then you have the group functionality still.
