Hello,
L4D_SV_RAVENHOLM
This is a port from HL2DM to L4D SV of a map of mine originally called dm_bloom. Themed after one of my favorite chapters in HL2 - Ravenholm. truly one of the most memorable and epicmost themes in HL2, which is, still, hands down my favorite game.
Obviously hl2dm and l4d are different in almost every aspect and so the port required quite a lot of shifting and rebuilding of whole sections, adding and removing of some, as well as adjusting the level to L4D nav system. ..at the end of the which, and after a few days of playtests -the map is in last beta. all that's left are some server-side and directory-wise modifications - but gameplay is complete and the map is sweet.
It might be a part of a campaign at some point but i'm currently working on one so who knows.
DL it HERE
to play, simply unpack the zip and double-click on the VPK file. it will auto-install the map in your addons folder. and that's also where you will find the map - launch L4D and go to Extras/Addons.
A bit of pimpage..

P.S.
and to all the questions i've been getting lately about my leaving dm - it's not true. i'm just enjoying myself and exploring new things.
hope you enjoy.
