The current state is fucking AWFUL.

There are a few pubs and even then a lot of snipey campy spam nonsense.

And two locked servers with really good players
The rest is noob nonsense.
That is the state of the game.
On life support.

I can't speak for Europe.

About the same. I noticed lately hardly any one playing HL2DM on my friends list. I am playign more Quake Live lately, still sucking at it.

well I grown tired and feed up, not with the game but the environment that surrounds it. Its mainly the teams in the community are too focused on winning at all cost even when its a friendly that they would only play 1 map over and over again even when they admit the map is poor and unbalanced they still want to play it because they can win on it .

It was not that bad in the past at least there where some decent honest players in the past that could be challenged and I looked forward to beating them but now they moved on and all that's lefted are twats with bad attitude that I hardly trust all signs that a game going past it sell by date. But hell if we actually got the support from the start that we deserved from valve it would of been so much better but it too little too late now in my view.

I still love the game thought and pop onto public server now and then but turn down every request for wars now since I am no longer interested or have time for that side of the game.

But HL2DM is alive its just that its not the HL2DM that most of us used to know and love. I do have unfinished business with this it which I will see through then I move on to other games may be quake live can fill that gap.

I quti serioulsy playing once the pub scene died. To me that means, nothing new is coming to DM.

Lets not play the same people over and over. It's to redundant. New games = new people to meet, new things to learn.

L4D made me a friend in Nino, someone who plays DM, but dont. Someone whom I never would've met. just as an example. take our friendships to new games.

I see quite the movement starting here, on this website, about playing Quake Live.

I just made friends with Bobadin in WaW, and I can't wait to play some games with him. It's a good feeling when your playing with someone u know, have history with, whatever- in a new game/learning environment.

Im sure some of us hl2dm players who ported to TF2 can relate to what I'm saying. if this made any sense.

I'm at level 200 in Mafia Wars on Facebook. The constant clicking sometimes reminds me of Aim Arena.
