QuakeLive Clan Arena night

We will try to do a clan arena night with HL2DMU people this sunday at 9est.

We'll probably need a vent server in order to get organized on the night we choose, so if anyone feels like donating one for a night let me know. This will be pretty relaxed, we'll just get in vent, divide teams up and join the same server. There aren't any private servers yet so we'll have to all be in vent before we decide to join the server, and we can always kick someone if an outsider sneaks in.

This thread is for sign ups, and too choose a night/time.

I got a TS server which can be used 10 slot its in the UK if that matters.
Night doesnt matter, time suits you as it looks like more Americans are involved.

Count me in if it isnt Friday or Saturday night, and also if I can get my QL client working, refused to install and repair the incorrect installation last time I tried. Looking forward to it havent played Q3A or QL in a long time ^^

I figure I'll try for sunday at 9est or something. I know most people go out on weekends so fri/sat aren't very good days.

Hopefully we can get some more people interested in this. 16people would great, so we could have 4 teams of 4, but 2 teams of 5 or something like that would also be fine.

I am down and will try to make it!

Nah, when i finally loaded QL i couldn't get the nick i liked and finally just took bruckner1962.
Then i had a brilliant moment: why not just add 1 to my nick on another account and did that.

Having played Quake Live and Quake 3 this week makes me remember why i love DM and hated UT3.

Quake fucking sucks ass in every way but level design.

Its a lot of predictive slowass weapons and stupid no air control, turn control movement.
Its a Blur of cartoonish colors and excessive grunts and other nonsense.

I keep wanting my GGun.
I keep wanting to actually turn.
I keep wanting to just MAG someone without GUESSING where they might be all the time or getting lucky or knowing where to camp and shoot.

And the community is as bad as CSS.
And id rather play that lame game than jump around in LooneyTunes land.
Having said all that, ill be there Sunday and am still waiting for the OH GEE moment but not holding my breath.
