calling all haters

i was in the section 8 beta test and got banned for standing my ground about how disappointing the game turned out to be. the fanboys constantly attacked me and i fought back, got banned cause i didnt support the game. now im in the same situation in the steam section 8 forum. still standing my ground. im calling on all haters from the community to join in and get my back. this thread is a good example. if you choose not to get involved, no worries, but it would be epically funny if members of this great family came in to defend one of their own.

I played the beta for a few hours and didnt think it was that good. The only thing it has going for it is the spawn system but that didnt make wme want to play it enough becasue I like spawn killing.
Gamers these days are becoming pussies "booo the spawnkilling sucks" "waaahh bunnyhop is not realistic" but what they really mean is "I cant move that fast"

As with all things that I do in life, I don't have any hopes to start with, so if it's good, then i'm pleasantly surprise. If it sucks, then I'm not let down.

I don't know if that's exactly a pessimist. Pessimism more clearly presents a lack of confidence in general with said thing. He just looks at said thing with a blank face, he may be intrigued, but nothing more, and until either a great or shitty outcome of said thing is made, he'll maintain his blank face on the matter.

I would be a pessimist if I had barely touched it and said it was shit.

Pesimist is a person that expects the worst.

Regardless of everything being said in this thread, here are the facts.

1. Expecting something from a game and getting something different happens 99% of the time anymore. Games look cool and end up being shit.

2. Were you expecting anything less from the steam forums?

3. It's a game, there will be more. Move on.

Rather than pessimism, its best to be a realist, to know that things are flawed and still expect the most from people, the least from Gubbmint.

It happens sometimes when you knwo you are right and that the mod/game is going in the wrong direction but the others cannot see it. Saem thing with that goldeneye source mod they are keeping the controls as similar to the N64 version as possible which if you ask me is wrong because we don't use conrollers on PC, they refuse to use +attack2 (mouse2) to zoom/iron sights and to set off remote mines instead to set mines off you have to use +attack2 + +attack i.e mouse2 + mouse1 and to use ironsights/zoom you have to use shift.
