Been trying to get info on this for ages, trying to install from >archive>crosshairs and in particular the circle+dot by jerk. I do as it says on the tin remove old halflife2.ttf and install the new, but when i go in game its the shitty default crosshairs. Need help or at least point me to a thread in uni as i cant find such topic.

Weird, it should be pretty straight forward.
You are placing the file in the right location, correct?
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\your_account_name\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\resource\

i sure am m8 to no avail. Could it be something in my cfg thats preventing it?

make sure your new file is read-only, or it wont work. guarenteed thats your issue

Check C:\Windows\Fonts for the font of the same name, the game maybe reading the file from there.
