could we get a forum just for the ranting flame threads?

something listed for everyone but only viewable by users who join the usergroup that is allowed access? I mean, i enjoy it. Others do too, whether or not they partake in it, and some of the threads have been pretty awesome and worth reading even if continued discussion was not allowed. You could keep the same rules, and even lock any new threads if they got out of hand for all i care.

if you think about it, it's honestly not a bad idea is it?

Normally I'd be down if I didn't already know Impala would fill up the entire forum every day to use Glenn Becks talking points on how Obama is destroying the U.S./ the Constitution/ the hard working American ect ect.

I proposed a shoutbox avaiable to all registered users. No one goes to check if anyone's on IRC because no one goes there, on the other hand, everyone's using the forums, so even if a topic gets locked people can still rant in the shoutbox without filling the forum with ''chat-style'' replies in countless fail thread.

But I suppose a rant/bitching board can be of use... on the other hand i think the goal of having forum rules is to avoid personal attacks and open shit talking about specific clans or members, wich has been out of control for quite awhile (ie: Nutri, Deathwish, Newguy, ewr and the list goes on...)

If there are rules, enforce them, if we are to ignore them, no need to make a specific place for the bitching to take place on.
