battlefield bad company 2

im surprised nobody is talking about this. is anybody preordering and getting into the beta for this game? any thoughts on the game itself? i thought the first one was pretty lame.

got tired of playing a somewhat enchanced version of the same war game I used to play 10 years from now. I wouldn't pre-order or buy at full price any COD,Battlefield, MOH...etc... unless it shows great innovation and high player reviews.

war games peaked at BF1942

Nearly everyone, if not everyone that plays CODMW and CODWAW is talking about BFBC2, particularly those that were disappointed in MW2.

However, I too am MEH on seeing yet another WWII game. It is sooooo overdone its rediculous. I am going to see what the reviews say as well before I make a final decision.

I'll likely buy it, some of the trailers I have seen look pretty good and it really can't be any worse than MW2. I kind of like the vehicle combat aspect which is missing in so many MP games.

Played the beta on my PS3 and didnt like it.

I really like this. Playing the pc beta is a real treat

I was hyped up for the first one, but after trying it didn't feel the same. This one should be better from what I hear and I still think this is the best engine consoles have ever seen.

I preordered it because they will have dedicated server support and I want to support companies that support PC gaming.

I've heard the game play is slower than what we are used to in DM but that does not mean it won't be good. Just might lead mean its more teamwork and strategy than run and gun.

not slower, per say. the maps are much bigger. its not run and gun. much more strategy involved. its a lot of fun. EE has a server waiting to go when its released.

Well, I ended up with the game soooooooo....

It's not a WWII game.

I play the demo like three times a day, it's extremely fun, and I plan on buying the game when it comes out.

I never played the 1st one but the beta for this one is alright, don't know if my pc is struggling or the engine is a bit clunky. The game is kind of tough to kill people compared to mw2, and visually tough to spot things at 1st.

edit: and btw, ive played insurgency. its good, but not even in the same ballpark as this game.

Does that game even have vehicles, because thats really what battlefield is all about!
