Accepting Select Video Footage for New Movie

This is holy, the guy who made Yes Way and Finality, the community video.

Instead of making another strictly community video, I've decided to make a video showing highlights of 4-6 excellent players.

Two of the players I want film from are Xs Buckykatt and SW Constipator. That leaves 2-4 more players that I don't have footage from yet. If you think you have the talent to be a part of the project, send me demos at [email protected] or send me a link in PM here. You are not required to tick up the demos if you don't want to.

I'll make more announcements further in this thread when I have a sufficient amount of good footage from one person to go ahead and put that person on the list.

winning on aim isn't anything to write home about, but then again we were both far from top tier back then.

A few good players on aim? I also lost to luke by 6 on lockdown once. Yeah, sure it was only once, but I think it proves that I was up there. As well, I don't think I had that great enough of a supporting cast to do anything in a league tdm.

We all have good games, I once beat Seagull, lost to Helk by only 4 and lost to luke by 1 in the only match I played him in 1v1. Does that mean I'm one of them? Nah not really. Leagues are where you prove yourself and consistent skill, I haven't seen you win any significant matches nor even do good in the few league matches you have played. Hell the last match I played against you in a scrim last month you went 25-37 as rebels on LD leaving without saying GG even....You never had it and certainly dont have it now IMO.



EDIT also one more thing, I played one match for aXon, we played UG arguably the best clan on the planet that season until they fell apart and we lost as rebs by 10 and almost won as combine (see end of onti's unfinished frag vid). Through leadership and skill you can make any clan a top tier clan.

Back to the movie. I'm trying out some new stuff that I'm pretty excited about. I'm recording at 768x480, which will be better for online streaming services and will give a smaller file size. The resolution looks really good at 200% size, too, so don't worry if you've got a large monitor. It should still look muy bueno.

Still waiting on footage from BuckyKatt, Divinity, and Poor Billy. Bucky's stuff is due by Friday. Billy is uploading his stuff now, and Divinity is going to give me his stuff before Friday as well.

I'm also using FRAPS this time, but I've got a professional copy and I'm recording with lossless RGB. It's easier than the TGA->AVI system and produced test videos of equal quality and even smaller file sizes.

The total file size for this 10 minute video should be 200mb or less, allowing the slow internet crowd to fully enjoy it without waiting 2 weeks - looking at you, Neolinkster.

Meh, month or so. I need more hard drive space, so I gotta scrounge up $50 for an external hard drive. If anyone feels particularly generous, I'm accepting donations :p
