Eh, why da fark is that ur dream computer <.<

Even my computer rapes it.
Go diff monitor, diff vid, diff ram, pretty much rethink that whole build lol.
Go corsair dominator ram, nvidia 470 (tesselation up to 6x faster then ati's), and get a phat monitor like alienwares new one.
And if u actually are going to build it get a i7 920 for value? OC it if u must, mine can crank 4ghz easy, OC'd from 2.6g. u wont actually get full use of an i7 in any game anyways, good for encoding though.

etc

Paradox

2010-04-30 03:58:22

hmm.. except for the fact that its an I7 CPU, and 5870 vid card, my specs arent that different. My CPU is a Intel Q9650 3ghz 12 mb cache and 1333 FSB.

I am thinking of upgrading the vid card this year maybe (I currently have a 1 gig 4870). However, unless I have a meltdown of my CPU or MB, its not worth the money to upgrade the rest to and I7 system yet since I probably wouldnt see a measureable increase in performance.

Honellty, my "dream box" would be a refigerator box full of $100 bills tax free and legal.

With six 30" monitors, you'd have 90" by 60". How far away would you have to sit from that to even begin to see everything?

3x2 = 6

30" x 3 = 90"

30" x 2 = 60"

You go back to school!

1. You are assuming square monitors. (16:9, 16:10, 4:3 are not square.)
2. Monitors are measured on the diagonal. Not width or height.

Now thats over, figure out for me how big that mat is by comparing it to the monitors on that pic, assuming u know the size of them. And give me an estimate.
I want one, as long as it has a surface that gaming mice read well.

That guy has a desk mat/pad you can buy them at any office store like staples. I used to use one for gaming it was nice because it goes under your whole keyboard and gives more space for your mouse. If I find a surface I like again I may get another one.
