12,000 Vac bans reversed!

I checked out the vac Forums on steam (always a good laugh) a few days ago and saw all these people bitching about how they got banned in mw2 for no reason. Nothing new right? That is the entire reason I goto that forums to laugh at those ppl that say they didn't do anything and can't spell a single word correctly. Looks like the mw2 ppl really didn't cheat and valve fucked up big time. So valve unbanned the last group of vac bans and gave them all a free copy of that god awful game called l4d2.

Sow what was it it that banned them, was it Fraps or something or just a case of complete randomness?
So even the real cheaters that really did cheat got unbanned also?

good questions Keefy, but for something like this. Valve has not said anything. it's not like this is gonna make the steam news so there is very little information i far as I can tell

I think it's related to hacked lobbies in mw2 changing client files.

They also manually banned a few people in tf2 for breaking the golden wrench drop timer algorithm (no dll/exe edits, hacks etc involved).

The whole "completely automated, never makes mistakes" line about vac is a load of rubbish.

Ko-Tao, they only VAC banned drunken fool because he used a script to make him craft at the exact second a wrench was supposed to drop. VAC picked up the script and banned him.

no he just had the leaked time slots for all the golden wrenches.

plus scripts don't get you vac'd

Yah, he had the times and told his friends, but he said and I think robin said the craft script was what got him banned.
