Those idiots you ran into aren't representative of Southerners.
Most southern accents sound quite nice.

I am part Black Irish.

It's got some nice grass? Seriously, how can you claim that a country bordering the UK is "exotic". Exotic means, "strikingly unusual or strange in effect or appearance". Nothing about oceans and grass is strange or unusual, sir. Your argument is invalid.

there are some truly amazing places in the UK...some of them look exotic, some are rugged, wild but ultimately different and some very unusual places to visit.

Ireland is easily one of the most beautiful places on earth. those who disagree are obviously spending too much time in urban milieus.
Irish accent is so cool. US southern is too. In fact, anything purely ethnic is also purely awesome.
Dumbfucks (inbred or not) can be found everywhere. they can hardly win over ANY argument. they're Dumbfucks.
Two best things about Ireland after the scenery are the Celtic culture and the lamb = yummy.
Freetux is good peoples.
Impala is a nutter but he's also one of the nicest things we have in hl2dm.
