The Best Damn Intermission

Hey guys just want to inform you about Movie competition which I fully believe would be a fantastic way to promote our game. Wake up movie makers it time to represent hl2dm and show them what it all about.

I just do a quick overview of what's going on.

It pretty short frag movie submission this time and its the first one 'The movie vault' has done with 'Alienware' unfortunately it seems like the guys in suits have had their way and so their seems to be a lot of red tape restricting what movie makers can do. If you take positive view on this it means its something you can do in a week or two and also means you don't have to spend a lot of time researching tracks for your movie. On the downside long community movies like fusion can not be entered and you will find it hard to stand out with the same palette of soundtracks other movie makers would be using. This is where only pure creativity and good editing will make you stand out with the help of some quality fragging as well .

Hope some of you guys enter this I would love to see a hl2dm movie up there this time. Follow the rules carefully.

For the record, the music they provide is horrid. I'm kind of sad to see this is the best they could provide.

How about a frag vid that shows off all the weapons featuring the quake sounds. Every time the weapon changes it starts with a slow-mo kill and then plays the quake sound. ?
