Yup. Ive used all three (Logitech mx518, Razor Lachesis, Steelseries XAI) and the steelseries is by far the best of the 3. The Mx518 was a real nice mouse too. Lachesis was poopoo. I've heard good things about the G9 and the older Razors thoughPernicious wrote:Logitech and razer both suck.
Steelseries ftw.

News for you its all lasers, they cannot handle high velocity as well as older optical mice, they are however improving alot.Ghost Dog_TSGK wrote:I can't stand my logitech mice, fragile and the lasers are proven shit at high velocity.

Not from steelseries, they made a good laser out of the gate.keefy wrote:News for you its all lasers, they cannot handle high velocity as well as older optical mice, they are however improving alot.Ghost Dog_TSGK wrote:I can't stand my logitech mice, fragile and the lasers are proven shit at high velocity.

i love my g5.The Argumentalizer wrote:I had a Copperhead. I rage tapped that thing with heavy fingers till it disintegrated. It was quick as fuck but too small. I was always accidentally zooming or side button that weird thing. It was a really fine quick thing for the right hand.
My G5 isn't really great. It feels all humpbacked and tall. Bulbous. I like the weights.
It is an underwhelming mo9use overall.

I have a small hand so if I used the smooth grip one it would be awkward, so I use the grip one. The only problem with this is I use my mouse A LOT and dead skin cells seem to build up where I put my fingers. EWW.L2K_GENOCIDE wrote:I favor the custom grips too, I mostly use the dry grip tho. The weights also slow my mouse down for my accuracy too, it's nice. Love the ability to customize different profiles and colors for the led's. and continuous rolling scroll option.

The spring that holds the thing that makes it click when you scroll had broken in once place and was just jiggling around with no purpose. I took off the broken spring, got a pair of pliers and a soldering iron and bent the spring so it fit back onto the place it should.the_big_cheese wrote:What was wrong with it/ how did you fix it?chickenmobile wrote:the scroll wheel broke and got stuck in hyper scroll.
