How does AG2 seem any cheaper then hl2dm? They look virtually identical. Only thing that isnt the prettiest thing on AG2 is the gamemenu and the options menus. The hud itself is identical yea? Not sure Im following your logic here thats all.

That's fine. As a competiive player the nuances are hard to explain of why I find AG2 cheap. Many other players will agree with me that shall remain nameless.

Oh, when you said cheap as trash feeling I assumed you were meaning its looks. I was under the impression that ag2's dm mode was just regular dm with a lot of bug fixes and the option to use J@nek's netcode which Ive seen pictures of the hitbox difference. Its rather amazing really. But you are correct. Im not competitive in hl2dm so I would probably have no idea if there were small differences in the actual gameplay. HL2CTF tried getting dm exactly the same under our code back in the day and it just never did feel exactly the same. We have a new dm mode though that keeps all the ctf goodies in it so its much more like quake's Clan Arena gameplay
