Hey man will look into it - i'm using VDJ right now with stanton SCS3 - will get Serato in a couple of months

Serato is amazing. Only downside is if you use Scratch you need to get an external soundcard like the Rane SL3 and if you're going for Itch you need an Itch certified controller.

Hows the Santon's touch response? I saw it when it was unveiled and was a bit skeptical of its response time. And I know Virtual DJ ain't a program known for its low latency.

I'm currently using the Vestax VC1-300 with VFX-1. I'm trying to save up for an NS6.

Great job to both of you, that's quite a talent! I'm a drummer and like to think I know my way around a drum kit quite well, but I couldn't even begin to try and accomplish what you both do!

So far the SCS3 system has really impressed me. I read mixed reviews but i got so sick of cheaply built units (went through several midi controllers) that I just HAD to try something that had no cheap knobs all over it.

Response time is great - my only negative feedback so far is that if you end up touching something by accident it can drastically change things up - so you just gotta bit a bit more careful when messing around.

I'm making some loops from scratch in Ableton with Absynth 5 and other stuff too.

I get most of my vocals from friends that are in bands that can provide me with multitracks.

That's about it! :3

Nice - will listen on the way back home.

Also someone gave me a registered version of TRAKTOR PRO and while it does miss some features of VDJ - it sounds alot better - might stick with it for awhile.

Traktor -should- be able to do everything VDJ does and more. Its not as intuitive though. Requires a bit of reading to understand what you can do with it.

Let me know what you think of the mix :D

TRAKTOR doesn't VIDEO mix - wich I sometime need to do.

But from the looks of it i'll have to use my M-AUDIO keyboard as a midi controller for the video wall using a dedicated VJ software and the SCS3 will solely control TRAKTOR.

Love all the skins and customisation VDJ has to - but maybe TRAKTOR has them aswell - like I it's all new to me.

After working alot more with the Stanton SC3 now - the only thing that annoys me is that I wish the PITCH slider was an actual button as it is REALLY sensitive therefore it's really easy to mess up. Besides that i'm in love.

Also your mix is WAY dope.
