Steam-machines - platform for HL3??

I'm sure you're all aware of Valve's Steam boxes. Here's an article talking about their plans:

I wonder if HL3 will be released only on a Steam box since Gabe hates Microsoft so much (especially Windows 8 )?

Assuming they actually ever release hl3 (trademark registered is a glimpse of hope) It would be stupid to think that they wouldn't release it for their SteamBox. Of course they are going to. It would also be stupid to not release it for PC as well, since the Half-Life series is one of, if not the most popular PC game series ever.

I would also hope it would be available for PC but only if Gabe can get over his hatred for Microsoft (for those of us who use Windows OS).
