Ummm could be the same dickhead/s that done the same thing to players in Aus, they live here, and are on his steam freinds list, it sounds very much like a player called [DoA] Votex.
Link to thread on Aussie webpage about the same subject, a dude got his account hijacked right after he downloaded the prog from the link supplied by Vortex.
It was either vortex and/or Lisa.

From my understanding, yard guy had his account hijacked, then the hijacker used yard's account to message teto. From there teto got his account hijacked as well, then the same hijacker used teto's account to message blas..

No, this "hacker" stole Yard's and then apparently used it to steal Nick's as well. In the second post you can see him bragging about stealing both. ie. even more evidence that we need to be careful, it could be coming from anyone on our friends list.

This happened to my second account (Valve Complete Pack in it), my brother just got hacked and they changed everything (password, email, etc).

Luckily, I talked with DougV and he reseted the account, so I recieved the new password to the original e-mail of the account

yard ended up getting the guy to email him through his submission website (edit: basically putting in the username/password "email me" "yard@blahblah"

he used his real name

we then proceeded to look up his name and found a bunch of various forum profiles, and then got his city in canada

then we looked up the phone books over there and found him and called him up, the call was pretty lol - although I won't post it here for obvious reasons, any ideas on how to get this guy punished? ;o

update: there's a small chance it's not the guy (might be a hijacked email as well), but since all his other accounts (youtube, all his forum accounts) all point to that email and none have been changed I doubt it.

Yard just got off the phone with some person handling the situation, the guy (13 yrs old) basically lied to the police and yard cleared it all up with some constable. the supposed hijacker will be getting another call from the police soon, and we'll see where this goes lol
