I am the clan leader and one of the the founders of the Defenders of Ravenholm [DoR] clan. We have a server located in NJ (66.55.131.88:27015). I am very interested in promoting HL2-DM and helping new players so that they do not get discouraged and leave the game. We have a website at http://www.dorclan.us. I manage both the game server and the website. I will gladly put a link to the HL2DM university on our website. I am interested in learning more advanced techniques as well as teaching others. Welcome! For now if you want to help, just get involved in the forums, tell your clan members to stop by, and if you are really enthusiastic, register your clan to play HL2DM in CAL (http://www.caleague.com new season starting soon).

I will post and let my clan members know about it. Unfortunatly we dont have enough CAL level players to enter the CAL tournament just yet, but some are interested in it. I am in the process of recruiting more members and we will see where we stack up. I was told about the University by someone who is probably CAL level when I asked him how he learned how to play like he does. One of the reasons I am here is to obtain training info for those clan members that want to learn it besides promoting the game.

You don't need any level to play. I mean, you might lose if you are not good enough, but you will be able to see how other people play, what they do, and that will help you learn more about the game, gain experience, etc. Plus, you get to know nice people, so just play, learn and enjoy =D.

The only way to get better is to play better players and learn some tricks of theirs.

Don't be shy. Encourage your members to 1v1 a lot as well. Try to get skirmishes as often as possible.
