Hey all,

I just started playing hl2dm a few days ago... Ive played many dm games in the past, so learning this hasnt been that bad so far. I am wondering are there leagues for this game still? and is it possible for a novice(I am not terrible... I can bhop and all that, still learning maps and weapons) to join a team? or enter a 1v1 league?

Also, I live in Washington DC area... are there any good/competitive east servers out there?

Well you come across as a really articulate and smart person from your post, I'd be glad to show you the works of this game and set you up with some training partners and I think you if you have other DM experience you should be league ready in a few months if your talented. I also run Clans-United American League if you were interested in playing in it next season. http://www.clans-united.net if you were interested though its really a federation of clans across the entire world, we have our own division though.

Basically try to continue getting better at the advanced stuff and playing with people better than yourself.
Most "league" servers are locked but there are some pubs that the better players frequent such as the Warzone servers
