This is likely the best place to be if you want to get into whats left of the game, eFPS is starting up here in NA and will be offering the tournaments and leagues you desire.
For now I'd recommend installing ag2 and get used to playing that in original hl2dm mode, as it looks like that is the future of competitive DM.
There are usually people playing it now and if you'd like you can add me on steam, when I'm around I'll do some 1v1's.

i kind of think that this ag2 is pretty bad. kind of seems like it was made by some kid that thought that the classic game was broken or something and added a bunch of crap and thought that he was doing the game justice. honestly, i think the classic hl2dm is pretty damn good and nothing is broken. people that think otherwise are simply not good enough to master it's mechanics. efps can keep their crappy tournaments. I'll just be looking for some nice pubs with nice maps like octagon which is my favorite map, but I've never actually played on it since nobody hosts servers that are in NA and have decent players on em. Hopefully CU gets some USA tourneys going on.

you are most likely probably most definitely playing ag2 with the additional stuff in the game try playing it with it turned off it is much better and has much improved hitreg than valve's current joke of a game so give it a shot and also try to use more punctuation. glhf out there

Sure if you think three headshots to the face to get one kill is pretty damn good and nothing is broken, and that is "masterable" then sure bud play classic DM.

if it takes u 3 shots to the face to get a kill, then that's some pretty bad aim, presuming you're using the mag or the shotgun which means that they weren't truly "to the face", but somewhere else, like in wall next to the face.

As I said in a thread long, long ago: only bad dumbass tryhards will prefer to stay in Valve hl2dm.

And I love how this guy pretty much openly admits to not knowing about how the game is broken and then called a large players "noobs," who say otherwise.

And it makes me laugh when I think of one of these noobs booting up AG2 and seeing the long jump and Gauss and thinking that is the ONLY form of game-play.
Takes all of 1 min, if that, to learn the pg_commandmenu and all the shit you can vote for and customize.

We play a well coded ORIGINAL hl2mp gameplay, sack. Not pro mode.

The only shit that takes a little bit of time is the decision of what crosshair you want to use; there is like 20 fontshape crasshairs and some 25 sets of sprite ones.

Or you can port the stock crosshair from valve's game that has been misaligned since 2004.
Good choice sack, go on and pwn those CS noobs who are playing the joke of a game that will only get worse.

Sack just download Ag2 and play the regular mode. Better hitreg and playing as a combine is actually enjoyable for once since you dont need to hear the god awful footsteps they have in regular dm.

He was greeted just fine. Then he started talking shit about AG2 not knowing what the fuck he was talking about and how HL2DM wasn't broken. Then proceeded to call everyone noobs and tell us how there are no good servers or players in NA. Then the community chirped him for his stupid comments. He got what he deserved.
