Finally its done you can stop with nagging now

I must say this was one heck of a project. Allot of sweat and tears went into making this after restarting from scratch three times from setbacks the journey is over.

So what does this frag movie contain?
Well its a collection of highlights over the past year or so. I went out with the goal of using no public footage against mostly tag up opponents. What I tryied to do is capture key moments with camera angles and slomos to show off the frag. I basicly used my knowledge I gained from not only hl2dm frag movies but other games such as CSS into this movie. As well as the competitive side it shows the damn right stupid and fun side as well.

So that's it hope you guys like the movie and I look forward to the feed back.

i just watched it..and well no offense, but i expected a lil more since u advertised the vid so much.

some good frags, especially the crossbow and magnum shots. the editing was soo good and clean. i didn't like the music (personal reference). but anyway it was a cool movie, and was a pleasure to watch

i give it a 7.5/10

nice frags but not much we havent seen before , the effects were top notch , music was ok but could probably have had a bit more entertaining tunes. Overall i liked it and will surely watch again . 9 / 10

I have finally watched it

I can't miss 1 ! And this 1 was really expected

My feedback :

The movie
x264:prefect.
16 mins : perfect

The editing
Not too much effects bug good ones.
I liked the one with the ladder, or the one with the frag displayed on the wall.
Slow motions are really good with these high framerates captures.
The famous no-music part that I expect in each frag movie was there and really good :]

The frags
I well know all the players of your team so I know they are skilled players

Frags on the air were really nice.
Multi humiliations with the crowbar and combine stick too. Above all in matches.
Well I'm not gonna detail each frags but generally speaking its nice frags.
It's always smart and funny to add some TK too !

Intro / Outro
The vault stuff is beautiful but useless imo. Else the rest is excellent. It was an interesting idea to display some funny screenshots like if it was photos.

I don't give a mark cuz Im not a teatcher but yes I will keep that vid and watch it again, cuz it shows players who loves that game. Given that not a lot of members of my team read the U cuz "its in english" I have introduced it in the P!raT private forum

Visual Quality-top notch. Great Frags. It was a lot of fun to watch. The recams are short and not overdone.
Music was good.
I enjoyed the hell out of it, especially later on with the crazy fight in the LD barrel room.

Very nice job. It looked awesome on my HD Widescreen.

I actually found the soundtrack very good, well picked and played at the right spots in the right moments.

Loved the visual quality.

The only thing i'd avoid is... no matter how cool a triple headshot killstreak might look, if theres a nade on the ground and a ball flying around, it makes your gameplay rather questionnable than "cool" just my opinion.

No "mind blasting" kills in there but I think this vid really relflect what DM is through the entire vid, good work.

I actually loved this video. The soundtrack was really good, and the quality was superb. The editing was done very well too.

The frags aren't anything special, but not everybody is amazing like me

This didn't really need all of that hype fellas.

Watching that much slo mo in a hl2dm vid is frustrating and the pointless smooths keep me wondering why they were used. The intro was ok, movie was ok, blur is overused.

Overall not bad but your next one will be better.

I will have to disagree sir, blur is always sexy (as long as you blur the right quantity obviously), and faster games have used blur (quake for instance) with great success [!]

well I think the blur is fine at 240fps your should of seen the test samples at 300. Its just that once you choose set fps to record from you don't know how it will look after the render sure the test samples give you an idea but the speed of the game varies also keep in mind the more fps the greater flexibility you have when it comes to editing 240fps allows for 8xslower footage also it look smoother when you slow it down say 4x than having 120fps footage. Ideal fps is 180 I would say for just the right amount of blur with out losing too much detail.

I think this was the highest quality editing and art I have seen in a HL2DM video looked very nice I wish the Game Over video would have had that nice of graphics and resolution. Well I guess we could steal yours since the red/white color theme was what our clan has. =]
