Question About Sony Vegas Pro 9 Codecs Not Showing Up

Okay, so I have both vegas 8.0 and now recently vegas 9.0. I'm pretty sure I acquired them the same way everyone else here has gotten them (can I say it or will I get banned for saying how I got them??), anyway, All my codecs show up in 8.0 as well as my plugins. But in vegas 9.0, nuthin. So I un installed my codecs, then reinstalled them and then did the same with the plug-ins (in this case its Magic Bullet Looks), and still nuthin. Huh? Am I the only person having problems like this? I've searched for vegas 9 updates but have found nothing. Any ideas???

I have similar problems.

So I render my video without codecs in "uncompressed mode" in a big hard drive and then I compress it with virtual dub. Cuz in virtual dub the codecs show up... xD

But I remember some times ago, before I format my whole PC that Vegas was showing the codecs, so it seems that this software is really strange with its own settings
