Where to scrim/prac.?

Do you guys (competitive players) scrim like most other games? I come from other HL mods and I would just use irc to find scrims with my teams in the past... how does that work with HL2DM?

Some people use IRC, but from what I've found, 90% of the people use the steam friends list.

actually most of us do. if your looking for scrims add zman42 to friends, im always looking for new oponents for 1v1/2v2/whatever
