Should be pretty much like any other OBE mod.

My experience with game server providers (including Gameservers), if you contact the right people in support they will help you get it up and running even if they don't support the game/mod.

Awesome, good work! So now for the next question: Mapping for this mod, what SDK do we use? Does it/will it have one or does one of the current ones work.
Can the current maps be used? Sorry if this has been answered before, I dont remember what the answer was.

I just hope you beat the beta for the official porting/upgrade.

It is rumored to be real soon now...

Achievements, dont forget achievements, especially for the one you get for wearing all 10 party hats at once! Epic!

That's Sub Zero's own version which actually works better than what Valve released today.

Wow Valve's Half-Life 2 Deathmatch update has more bugs than the old engine, I'm sorry to inform you all that I will not be releasing my version tomorrow as planned due to Linux support issues but not to worry I will have it all fixed soon and will be releasing it no later than October 10th 2010, Again sorry for the slight delay and I appreciate your support and the wait will be well worth it. :)

Nade timer seems a bit faster.
Hit recog. is good.
Movement is not, per already reported sprint stand connection.
The pickup orbs look really weird.
I notice a little less close in inadvertent SMGnade damage.
I don't notice much else difference.

This update in general was terrible, imo. But the only major NEGATIVE thing that came from it: was the movement differences.
Overall, it fixed a lot of gayness, such as:
Having difficulty picking up nades in mid-air while crouched.
The final/third rocket occasionally not turning and just going straight ahead when fired.
Hit reg is absolutely amazing now. It's dead on. 100% accurate. If you miss, you miss. If you hit, you hit. I've witnessed absolutely no bs at ALL with it thus far.
The NOT-so-great fix was, obviously, what killed the bhop, is the "fix" for speedcrouching, which personally, I found that just another exploit in the game that made it much more diverse/dynamic and should've been kept into the overall mesh of the gameplay.
Furthermore: You can still speedskate. Just don't crouch. It still works, though it's a little weird getting used to at first.
HOWEVER, that's just me trying to look on the "bright side" of it. PERSONALLY, I think it's a fucking terrible update, and Valve doesn't know what the fuck they're doing. :/
Either way, OB, yes pl0x.

I like this.
Most of what i've read (as I haven't had a chance to try it myself yet) is all "OHSHIT IT'S BROKEN IT'LL NEVER BE THE SAME LET'S ALL MOVE ON" etc. But if all it's gonna take is learning a slightly-different moving technique, is it really the big boo-boo people are making it out to be - or is it just shock at change, and the start of a series of smaller ongoing bugfixes from the big Game Lords in The Sky?

I like how you never really give logical posts.
Either way, I practically have quti lol. I play maybe like... 10-20 minutes every day / every other day.
I don't consider that actually "playing" at all.
Furthermore: An actual update to my favorite FPS? I think that'd bring my attention back pretty easily, I had to give it a shot. :P

Awesome, so how quickly can someone get a dedicated server switched over to the mod once it comes out so we can properly test it?

Depends on the server provider. If someone has Gameservers, I bet they would get it done within a day probably less.

I've been working on getting a dedicated running off my own pc it was problematic to say the least there was a recurring error where it would crash when loading needless to say I spent some time here and there trying to solve it till i spent a whole day working on it apparently if you run another server from the same directory hl2mpob will not load anymore on a dedicated so when a provider happens to have an issue with getting it running pls tell them to follow these instructions
