A few random tactic questions

Is it possible to control your triple shot, with shotgun? Is there a definitive step by step on how to do so?

And also I know how to gravity gun jump pressing primary fire, but i've seen onti and other do it some other way using the secondary or something how is this achieved?

I think I remember ko tao talking about your third question. IIRC, he said it didn't reduce damage much so don't worry too much about that. I always try to dodge smg nades rather than trying to make them explode.

the shot gun thing is happen stance though i think....
i do it all the time but just when i need it i cant do it

I think, its were they get against the object and then dont shoot but they have g gun out. I'am not 100% sure what they press. I always thought secondary fire. Do you know how to do this?

Because the rates have an effect on the physics. When people change them it can have strange effects on the physics such as allowing the prop effect described above

It can also allow you to not be killed so easily by props which is why so many people are screwing around with their rates.

KK, nonetheless, it could be a legitimate question. Personally it kind of ticks me off when people do it to intentionally mess with the game and give them an edge. Yes I know that everyone can do it, including me. Since lots of people do it it kind of forces others to do the same to level the playing field.

Like Seagul does in the CAL finals demo (round 2): throw a saw into the ground, make it stuck there. Then walk over it, and while there, grab it and jump at the exact same time. You'll fly. You can try to do it while just standing on top of it, I think it works the same, but you'll fly upwards only.

The thing is: when you jump at the moment your hitbox is overlaping a prop's hitbox, you'll get the physics bug of getting thrown away from the object. If you're grabbing it, like in the saw example, you'll fly with it. But it happen's to me sometimes, that I fly too fast and loose the prop in the way.

Still dunno if you can do the same with any other props.

I have just put cl_cmdrate 100 in the console with no cheats sv_cheats 0
The server's rate is "100" in the movie but it's easier in a low rate like "66"
You can too do it in "120" but it's more difficult

i remember when a few of us tried to show Deuce how to prop fly and he just couldn't get the hang of it.

I'll give that a try, on 66 if you say its better that way.

if you can control it, its very good for me in dm_biohazard, dm_overwatch or in aim_arena_reloaded for example

I'm still working on that part. I barely have control over it. Sometimes I don't fly, sometimes I fly too much. But it may be of utter usefullness in Overwatch for me, to play my favorite game: "Hunting Campers"

Yep exactly an step by steps with that? Nice vid btw.

the way i do it is first cl_cmdrate 100 then i find it easiest with the concrete brick. so place the brick down walk a short distance away from it. line yourself up then crouch n look vertically down. as you start to pass over the object (still crouched) you jump then pick up the object with the grav gun and off you go in the the air up up and way. may take a bit of practice to get the timing right. as with all glitches in dm its about timing.

as far as i know the triple shot with the shotgun does NOT work, it's just a doubleshot right at the head, which will still kill you after 200 suit.
