Yes the universal stick man may be the answer, good idea. Penguins don't fit the theme somehow though.

I wonder if there are any on the Voyager probes

wow, this is a sweet map, great idea, it's kinda makes the gravgun feel like the guass gun in pro mod... see if you can stick it up in pig poppers testing server, I'd love to play this with a few people :twisted:

I didn't like the fact I died when I tried to hit the big white tower with an RPG. is there not away to clip it to stop players going over the fence but allow nades and rpg's to pass through?

Thanks for running around Jelly Fox. Yeah the clips around the map are set to deflect everything at the moment. I found myself throwing physprops out of the map with just player_clip, so...

I didn't foresee rpg suicide though. I will address this somehow, good point

I played a map today somewhere, they had grav gun actuated jump pads. the jump pad itself had a picture of a stick man, with a gg shock and the words jump under it. Those are pretty cool the way they work. Still havent got to try your map yet, but will very soon.

The idea of the g-gun activated jump pads may actually make its away into alot of maps. I'll have to test and see myself, but if worthwhile, I might find myself making a map around this very idea!

Digging this one so far haymaker. Love those grav gun activated jump pads and the creative health and armor dispensers.

Feels just a little sparse on weapons, but I was just running around so I'm not sure yet.

I would recommend much playtesting before finalizing it, I see lots of potential here.

Thanks WT, the entity work was fun. This is really a frankenmap of at least 3 other ideas. I'm still unsure if those pads would be better off in a killbox idea.

I think there's at least 2 of every weapon except rpg and ar2. Can't remember atm.

Not that I have anything against killbox, but this is way cool in stock maps, so def stick at it.

I'd like to have a run around in this map with you sometime if we can arrange that.

I felt the same weapons were scarce maybe cause powerful weeapons like ar2 and rocket were hard to find. Also there were hardly any physics. The other thing was the map was rather bland but the geometry was nice and for all the low amounts of things there were a couple of low fps areas that really should not exist in a map with not many physics or detail.

Yeah I think i know the two low spots you 're mentioning Fearsome. There is a lot going on with regards to vertices, all the curves and stuff, I remember constantly checking hammer's saves for integrity. At least all the spiral stairs are on grid for this compile I know that much. Plus there are not many corners that amount to 90 degrees; this place is hinted at some crazy angles.

I dunno if this is gonna ever be final; after looking at the finesse of dm_enzo I'm inclined to just cut my losses here. The map shop is closed down for the summer now too.
