hey folks.ive been workin on a new map.its a small 2 to 10 player ffa arena.jump pads,push ramps and teleports.its made to be fast fast and fast.its ready for public testing.let me know what ya think :D

id player_clip the roof lip though, as its stops you when you hit the lifts/trigger_push on the outer rim.

yes plz id love to have it on the test site.i didnt go thr first cuz you sed it was hacked or somthing.ill get a clip on the roof.i just added that roof after val showed me a good dome tut.forgot that lip is thr ty for pointin it out.

na, there was a game_text that redirected ppl to the forum but as that is dead in the water i wont insist on it atm :P

k, its on rotation. i need to update the votemap list but if i'm about give me shout and ill stick it on for ya.

I've got a suggestion regarding the teleport.
It might be useful/fun to have a laser going from one vent decal to the other, and make the trigger very small within the laser. This will kinda signpost the fact that there's a teleport there and allow players to be more deliberate about using them.

I also think the remote_destinations should be moved of centre (from the walkways) and raised from the ground slightly, i dont know why but it feels a little weird as is, as though i was just spawning not teleporting.

just my 2bits mate :D i can't wait to have a run about with a few people...

no. but the brushwork you got raving there does ;) i'd tie everything to func_detail in this map. everything...as in including the outter walls. put it all in a nodraw cube. :sketchy: worth a try anyway.

hey popper i moved those tele dest like you sed.and added the beams.made the tele triger thinner.wich makes it look and play better 8) teleports still need somthing to give it some umph :P can you help me on how to do a trigger sound when you teleport.did what you sed val with the nodraw cube and func detail.seems to have uped the fps lookin down at the teleports.fell free to decompile or i can send you the vmf.new map link dm_BirdCage_b02

wow i love it, the laser makes things so much clearer and where youve put the teleport destination well speeds things up. :D

hey got that spawn point fixed.got a sound trigger on the teleport.thanks agine pig. i didnt think of using a trigger multi and an ambent genaric,i figgered that the teleport had its own sound triger like the doors and i was just missing it some how.any way i think this verson is close to dun if thrs no bugs.

ive uploaded the latset verson to the server, ill go on a bug hunt soon.

If you like i can schedual an steam group event!? can be good for gameplay ideas, it usually brings in a good 20 / 30 people over a few hours. let me know when's a good day for you if your interested.
