Date dependent trigger... is it possible??

I was wondering, is there, in hammer, any entity (or any possible way) with which you can retrieve the date from the user's PC and use it to trigger something?

(to make a trigger that only triggers in some time of the year)

I don't think so...would be awesome to make a map that would retrieve Half-Life cdkey from the registry before Steam, and have it displayed somewhere on the map.

We have to find a way to do this.

Maps (in any game i know of) are not programs and do not have any conversation with registry.
what you're trying to do with have to involve some sort of leech-like script, plugin / program installed on people's machine which is out of the question as you will agree.
